Moe On Three Stooges - Moe howard (born moses harry horwitz; ) was the leader of the three stooges, the pioneering slapstick comedy group that became one of the genre's most successful and durable acts. Howard was the only member to be part of all incarnations of the team.

Over the years, several three stooges comics were produced. John publications published the first three stooges comics in 1949 with two issues, then again in 195354 with seven issues. The three stooges, american comedy team noted for violent anarchic slapstick and routines rooted in the burlesque tradition. Members included shemp howard, moe howard, larry fine, curly howard, and curly joe derita. When moe died, the act ended. Moe howard was the leader of the stooges both on and off screen, and was committed to the group until his passing in 1975. Curly's shaven head and distinctive comedy style made him a fan favorite, but his declining health led to a shortened career and untimely death at the age of 48.
