Why Is It Hard To Find A Job Right Now Reddit - A lot of people are on the market right now because theyve been either forced out of a job, or they dont wanna go back into the office, so they are looking for remote work. A lot of companies are not hiring at all either, despite what it looks like. They put out job ads just to give the appearance that theyre growing.

For whatever reason i don't know the metrics of the job market and why it is so difficult right now but i have been doing the same thing. Applying for 3 jobs a days for weeks and nothing. Luckily i have a full time job making decent money but i want to advance my career and this current job is kind of a dead end. The market is absolutely bizarre right now. A ton of people looking for better jobs (though currently employed) and a ton of employers with job postings but doing very little actual hiring. I have a covid theory about this. These remote positions are so hard to get right now. I applied to a job that pays 17. 00 and a recruiter emailed out questions before doing the phone screening to thin out the herd. I was previously employed with the company and did great on the interview, im still unsure ill get the position. People with degrees and experience, as well as those without, are both having difficulty finding a job, and the unemployment period is becoming longer than it was previously.
